Care for Children with Special Needs

Chesapeake Home Health Care knows that babies, toddlers, and children living with special needs and disabilities have unique care requirements. Our compassionate and experienced care professionals specializes in providing in-home care and case management support for medically fragile children living special needs.

Short-Term and Long-Term Respite Care

Whether you need respite care assistance on a short-term basis to take a family vacation or receive long-term care if you’re no longer able to care for your loved one, Chesapeake Home Health Care will step in and help.

Companionship Care

When the most basic daily home tasks become a challenge, we are here to help. Doing laundry can become exhausting for a cancer patient; cleaning a bathroom can be difficult for a senior with arthritis; or preparing a meal may be impossible after surgery. At Chesapeake Home Health Care, our thoroughly screened care team is available to assist with daily activities.

Wheelchair Wellness & Transfer

Immobility can lead to ulcers, pressure sores and wounds requiring care. Our Home Health Aides (HHA) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) are trained to provide pressure relief methods and to support bed-bound patients. Our certified care team members are also trained to assist patients during transfers to avoid falls and injuries.
